Best of luck to our dancers as they embark on a 3 week journey of growth at the Governor’s School for the Arts! , and Addyson endured a grueling audition process to earn this incredible opportunity. We are so proud they value education the same way we do and can’t wait to see them grow in discipline and artistry through this experience.

Monday Night Masterclasses are back!
Every Monday night BGDC brings in a special guest instructor to expose our dancers to different genres and new instructional styles. All classes are $20. These classes are offered opposite of intermediate Acro classes. Acro classes fall under a normal drop-in cost of $15 or you can do BOTH classes for $30.
Our first instructor is :
Train with Joseph Edmonds Jr. in a high-energy commercial dance class rooted in hip hop foundations, performance quality, and industry-level training. This class is designed for dancers who want to grow not only as performers, but as working creatives prepared for real commercial opportunities.
Drawing from his experience with the University dance team, choreography, and on-set video production, Joseph combines movement training with honest insight into the realities of the commercial dance world — including auditions, performance pacing, professionalism, versatility, and how to navigate the industry with confidence.
Dancers can expect an encouraging but challenging environment focused on musicality, texture, ex*****on, and storytelling through movement. Whether your goal is dance teams, music videos, live performance, choreography, or creative direction, this class is built to help make those dreams feel tangible, achievable, and within reach.

It’s Dress rehearsal day! A new venue means a new learning curve for staff and participants. We’ve been working hard all morning to streamline music and lighting to be prepared for our dancers.
Upon entering GRC , take the first left (heading toward the football stadium). Enter the door on the far left side and head into the auditorium. Dancers will find the row labeled with their class and costume. They should remain seated until a staff member escorts them to group pictures.
