Deep Run HS/Godwin HS Area Math Tutoring I taught math in Hampton, VA for 10 years. For over a decade I have worked as a Homebound teacher. I currently hold a license to teach math in Virginia.

I taught math for 10 years in Hampton, VA. Now I work as a Homebound teacher for HCPS and as a private math tutor. I enjoy math and do my best to help my students look at math as an interesting puzzle to solve. Has your child told you he or she knows how to do the problems but then performed poorly on the quiz or test? As students move into Alg 1, Geometry, and Alg 2, each new day brings something

new that often looks similar to what they have learned, but is solved in a different way. I help students learn to distinguish between the types of problems so they know what approach to take. Message me to meet with your son/daughter at the Gayton or Twin Hickory Library. I meet with students on a regular basis or as needed.

I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to tutor many wonderful students! It has been fun and inspiring to work with and see young people work hard and overcome their challenges to find success! Thanks for allowing me that privilege!
I am retiring to a happy life of gardening, taking care of my elderly Mom, seeing grandkids, and doing volunteer work for my church--all with my best friend and husband!

I am ready to tutor online through a Zoom Room. I can send a link that allows a student to enter the room. The student can display math problems from various websites such as Delta Math, Khan Academy, or any other website. Worksheets can be easily displayed.
