Bonazah Community Development of Africa (BOCODA) is a nonprofit corporation organized for exclusively religious, charitable, educational and scientific purposes. It is a nonprofit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Virginia and within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) and 170(c) (2) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law. The principal office of the Corporation in the State of Virginia, shall be located in the County of Chesterfield and the Corporation may have such other offices, either within or without the State of Virginia, as the Board of Directors may designate or as the business of the Corporation may require. Founded July 2013 organized in order to capitalize the use of expertise from the Board of Directors and Staff leadership by soliciting management and funding support through donations of caring individuals, organizations, corporations, businesses, churches, foundation grants, government grants, private, public and government partnership to execute the Corporation operations in providing support and assistance to the underprivileged children from rural areas. The staff work in local communities identifying the needs of individual and community in order to provide for them with targeted assistance requires for their individual and Community improvement. The management Team is thankful and appreciative for your financial support that help us to pursue our mission of funding projects that are dear and close to our hearts and in keeping with our mission of leveraging educational and financial resources to increase and improve the life options for underprivileged youth in Africa and the developing nations. It is our goal and objective of providing to economically challenged children from rural areas the opportunity to have affordable and equality in gaining an education either technical or vocational training that would enable them to be self-sufficient and reliable members of society. Through, leadership, responsibility, accountability and integrity provides a leading role in serving the underserved and giving to the world poorest poor children a chance to change their current situation for a better life option. Bonazah images a world where every underserved child receives the education they need to thrive in their community, nation and the world at large. In the next five years we plan to have operations in 200 local communities and operations in 25 countries in the next ten years, providing education assistance, food assistance, and shelter opportunity for underserved children from rural areas throughout the globe. Thus, enable them to be either self-employ or create employment opportunities for other children. Our operations focus is in the rural areas where most of the children have less than 3% chance of exposure to some of the government, foundation, religious, privates and public assistance programs available to help them change their economic and social status. Additionally, BOCODA will be launching later in 2013 a Global Citizenship Program to provide laud Microfinance and makes credit accessible to world’s poorest poor, as a great solution to poverty alleviation and gender empowerment. We will be working with universities to conduct research of better ways to empower women especially widows and economically disadvantage women across the globe to seek a mechanism that work in improving their financial family and economic standing, thereby enabling them to sustain living needs and be able to improve on the family economic profile. Bonazah Community Development of Africa operations are mainly humanitarian charitable giving and no product involved but serving the needs of fellow human. It fully invests in holistic student development concept, providing mentorship in educational, cultural, and traditional values, counseling, tutoring, career panel, study skills and community services seminars given to student during holiday breaks where most of the students attending various institutions of learning and local inhabitants cross trained through Bonazah community coordination and arrangement for a week of cultural and information exchange across communities. Bonazah Community Development of Africa is uniquely placed to execute it humanitarian duty by ensuring that the Corporates goal and the Board of Directors intent are implemented through a well plan distribution and execution of provision to beneficiaries while achieving the highest standards in meeting their needs. This can only be achieve by pre-identifying funding, acquire funds, track and control all financial resources to cover anticipated and unanticipated program implementation to includes staff and running cost. A balance approach and support from donors and grants approval will enable the organization to successfully implement each program and guaranteeing successes for each program milestone. Proper planning must be done in order to skillfully address any program shortfall, that is to plan for unplanned by having measures in place to address any challenges that the organization might face. Rural communities in many part of the world has faced it share of population declination due to diseases, drought, and poverty for the general population. Additionally, lack of available and equip health facility, couple with disease such as the Aids pandemic which has gripped and spread HIV and Aids among the population have left many children without parents. Many children from rural areas, due to the loss of one or both parents often are left to fend for themselves with the older siblings who in most cases are teenagers themselves to fill in the gap of performing the role of the parents. BOCODA through it local partnership initiative and addition to having a staff on the ground working at local level identifying the needs of individual and community needs is able to provide targeted assistance directly to the beneficiaries eliminating the third party. This unique structure enable BOCODA’s staff to applying financial resources most effectively and responsively, to accomplish its mission; provide superior resource management support, commitment to excellence and the higher quality of stewardship for its short and long term goals
