The Texas surgeon who went viral for challenging UnitedHealthcare is bringing her message to Capitol Hill.⁣ ⁣ @drelisabethpotter joined hundreds of healthcare workers at the bipartisan "Healthcare is Human" rally, advocating for policies aimed at addressing staffing shortages, burnout, and mental health challenges in the medical profession.⁣ ⁣ Potter also spoke about her public fight with UnitedHealthcare, which drew national attention after she accused the insurer of interfering with patient care.⁣ ⁣ The event highlighted proposals to support healthcare workers through tax credits and expanded mental health resources.

RAM's vibrant Women in Focus Group gathered May 2 to socialize and learn the latest concerning metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH), a form of fatty liver disease, in a presentation by Bon Secours' Jennifer Miller, MD.

It was a packed house at RAM's last Lunch on Tuesday meeting April 28th! Member physicians enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by the University of Richmond's Jepson Alumni Center and were briefed on the latest advances in diagnostic pathology of the prostate, presented by UVA Health's Steven C. Smith, MD, PhD.
