It's with great sadness that we announce one of our own has passed. Arla Bowles served previously as our STEM events coordinator in Richmond and supported our students at Nystrom Elementary. From the community, Arla was a bookkeeper with the City of Berkeley and a native of the community she served. She helped hundreds of kids see and experience another future.
