Today we celebrate more than graduation — we celebrate kindness, growth, courage, and the joy of becoming good people.

At Lynnhaven, we do things a little differently. We cheer loudly, support deeply, learn boldly, and remind our students that who they are matters just as much as what they achieve.

To our graduates: carry your joy with you, keep embracing what makes you uniquely you, and never underestimate the power of being a genuinely good human. The world needs more of that.

A packed house this afternoon for Student Showcase! We are so proud of our students for ending the year strong and sharing with the community what they have learned!

Tomorrow is the last day of the 25-26 academic year and as quickly as the year arrived - it is now coming to a close!

Tonight our seniors and their families gathered together for a meal as our students delivered their Senior Speeches. A cherished tradition at Lynnhaven which always brings plenty of laughs and plenty of tears from students, staff, and family members.

We truly celebrate our students on their accomplishments during High School and can't wait to continue the celebration next week as they walk across the stage and earn their diploma 🎓

When the office door opens and its the alumni coming back for a visit, it becomes a highlight of the week!

We appreciated the visits from Patrick '23, Amaya '24, Abby '24, Austin '20, & Peyton '20.

Alumni Spotlight

We are proud to celebrate Omar Loiseau, a member of the Lynnhaven School Class of 2023. Omar is a rising senior at in Lynchburg, VA, where he is majoring in Film and Video graphics and competing as a varsity member of the Men's Tennis Team.

Most recently, Omar earned a place on the Spring 2026 Dean's List, an academic honor awarded to student's who achieve a 3.5 GPA or higher.

We are proud of Omar's continued success in the classroom, on the court, and in his creative work. He represents the kind of growth, discipline, and purpose we love to see in our Lynnhaven alumni.

Nick attended Lynnhaven for one year, and we are proud to celebrate this important milestone with him. It is always meaningful to see former students continue to grow, achieve, and take the next step in their journey.

It was a beautiful morning as we recognized our students for their growth and resilience this school year. Each subject area gave awards across all grade levels and we also recognized students for their exemplary community service, as well as our parent volunteer for their time and help throughout the year.

We ended the ceremony with Senior pass downs - welcoming the Juniors into their final year of high school 🎉

With 16 days until graduation, we celebrate all that our students have accomplished and look forward to continuing the celebrations over the next two weeks!

We couldn’t let Teacher Appreciation Week end without shouting out our wonderful teachers and staff.

The faculty at Lynnhaven meet our students where they are — both academically and holistically.

They work hard every day to keep students motivated in the classroom, and most importantly, they strive to provide a safe space where students feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable throughout their learning process.

The Lynnhaven community is thankful for all you do for our students today and every day.

It's College Decision Day for the Class of 2026 and their list of acceptances has grown since the start of the year!

With so many amazing schools, it can be hard to decide where to go!

We are so proud of our seniors for taking their time to make their decisions and we will continue to celebrate them for the remainder of Senior year!
