In 1978, William Helfand wrote that Valentine's Day cards were "primarily British and American institutions," with the exchanging of cards being an offshoot of the practice of leaving a calling, or visiting, card, at the homes of your friends and relatives around the New Year. The Reynolds Downtown Campus Library is pleased to share its new display area called "Current Local Happenings" This month, we are very happy to feature "Prescription for Change" inspired by the exhibit of that name at the Black History Museum through March 15. The idea behind the new display is that students are already downtown, and enjoying free parking....
