At Glenn Marshall Elementary, we believe that when our teachers grow, our students thrive!

Earlier in the school year, GME Teachers, Crystal Daniels, Kelly Dyal, Heather Fain, and Andrea Hart were awarded KEDC Grants to support their professional growth and learning. Through this opportunity, they attended the Stars, Stripes, and Strategies Conference this week, where they not only gained invaluable knowledge but were also given free laptops!

During the conference, they explored strategies in technology integration, literacy instruction, civic learning, and student engagement. The experience provided actionable ideas and access to grant program resources that they can bring back to their classrooms for another successful school year.

Most importantly, they had the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow together—strengthening their commitment to providing the very best educational experiences for our students.

My name is Mary Beth Marchio, and I am thrilled to join the team as a new paraprofessional! My husband and I recently relocated from Illinois to Kentucky with our dog, Nico. I am very excited to bring over 25 years of teaching experience to this new chapter. My background includes a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Special Education, a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, and endorsements in ESL and LBS1.
