This week our Second grade mathematicians were adding it all up—and showing that there’s more than one way to get to the right answer! 🧠✏️They used drawings, ten-frames, equations, counting strategies, and even got up to show and explain their thinking to their class family. We’re learning that in math, it’s not just about getting the answer—it’s about being able to prove it, explain it, and defend your strategy! 💡Different strategies, same sum…THAT adds up! 😎Building mathematicians who don’t just know the answer—they know WHY! ❤️📚
