While summer doesn’t officially start for another month, we know some of you may be seeking some relief in the water!
Whether you’re an experienced swimmer or just starting out, we want everyone to “Splash Smart!” Make sure you're taking safety precautions when at the pool, lake, or river!
For example:
• Provide close/constant attention to children you are supervising;
• Always swim with a buddy, or tell a trusted person where you are going;
• Stay within arm’s reach of any weak/inexperienced swimmers;
• Have young children or inexperienced swimmers wear approved life jackets around water.
