Congratulations to our 2025-26 GRHS Symphonic Band, who were just announced as Commended Winners in the Citation of Excellence competition!

Through The Foundation For Music Education, the Citation of Excellence project seeks to recognize and award outstanding achievement in performance by non-varsity high school and middle school bands and orchestras. Recordings were submitted at the end of last school year and evaluated over the summer. This was the Symphonic Band's first ever submission.

Thank you to all of the students and staff that helped make this achievement possible! Congrats to our entire band program on this award!

Are you ready for some cooler weather? Does it make you feel like purging? When the weather gets cooler, do you do a "winter closet cleanout?" If you answered YES!, we’ve got great news..... we are doing our annual fall clothing drive! See below for details. Green City Recycler pays the Band and Guard per pound for all donated items. Thank you in advance for helping this amazing group of kids, and see you there!
