Happy Nurses Week from HealthForce of VA!!!

Happy Taco Tuesday!
We currently have the following assignments with our customers:

*Phlebotomist- Aylett, VA. 6-week assignment October 2-November 13, 7:30a-4:30p. Must be certified and a minimum of (1) year experience. Interviews are this week!

*CNA- Burkeville, VA. 13- week assignments 3-11p and 11-7a (This customer requires a Covid vaccination and drug screen)

*LPN and RNs- Burkeville, VA. 13- week assignments 7-3p, 7a-7p, 3-11p, 11-7a, 7p-7a (This customer requires a Covid vaccination and drug screen)

*Various VADOC LPN and RN 13-week assignments- Requires a minimum of (1) year experience with adult corrections. These 13-week contracts may be extended based on the customer's needs and the nurses performance. Most of the VADOC have 12 hour shifts, some will have 10 hour shifts. The assignment includes 36 hours each week and every other weekend.

HealthForce of Virginia is currently seeking experienced nurses to work with public school students for the school year in the Henrico and Chesterfield area. The nurse will accompany a medically fragile student to school and provide one-on-one medical assistance throughout the school day as required. Nurses must have previous pediatrics experience and must have at least one year of experience working in the field. Experience with suctioning, trach care and G-tube are a requirement. Each student also has other varies needs that will be discussed with candidates.
The shifts will be Monday-Friday and the assignments can be weeks or the entire school year, depending on the student's needs.
The current assignments are immediate needs. Interviews must be immediate due to the timeline. Please have an unexpired nurse license, an unexpired PPD, an unexpired CPR and (2) forms of ID that are unexpired.

**The current student assignments**
A student that attends Quioccosin MS needs a nurse M-F for the school year.
A student that attends Deep Run HS needs a nurse on Mondays for the school year.

We also have a need for nurses to fill in throughout the school year when we have a nurse call out sick or go on vacation, etc.

**The current student assignments**

We have a summer school assignment for a student to start immediately.
The dates are July 18- August 4.
8:30a- 12:30p Monday- Thursday. This student will be at Tucker High School. This student requires a nurse to ride the bus with him.
The bus details are:
Pick up 7:45a and Return 1:10p.
Address for pick up/drop off is at the students home in Richmond.
This student has cerebral palsy, asthma, and is a continual feed. There is light suctioning for this student. All of our nurses that have worked with him find him absolutely delightful!

As we near the start of the school year, the updated 1:1 school assignments will be posted on Indeed. Please understand each of our student assignments are 1:1 and most assignments require the nurse to ride a school bus with the student, so you must be prompt with arriving to the designated location for pick up so that the student is on time for school.
