Each year, Daniel Boone Elementary proudly hosts our Hispanic Heritage Celebration—a special evening dedicated to recognizing, honoring, and celebrating the beautiful diversity that makes our Pioneer community so unique.

Our classrooms are enriched by families and students from many different cultures and backgrounds, and we believe those differences are something to celebrate. This year’s celebration was a truly memorable evening filled with dancing, student art, cultural education, food, bingo, free diabetes screenings, and valuable community resources for our Pioneer families.

An event like this does not happen without a village. We are incredibly grateful for the many individuals, organizations, staff members, families, and community partners who shared their time, talents, resources, and support to make this evening possible.

To everyone who helped create an evening where our families could feel represented, welcomed, connected, and celebrated—thank you! Your partnership helps make Daniel Boone a place where every Pioneer and every family knows they belong. 💚💛

Thank you to our Dj for the evening as well! Mr. Thomas Wilson!!

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! 💃🏽

¡Gracias to our incredible Pioneer village! 💚

Last week, our third graders had the opportunity to enjoy an exciting 4-H field trip! They spent the day learning, exploring, and experiencing hands-on activities that brought learning to life.

We’re so thankful for the 4-H program and everyone who helped make this field trip such a fun and educational experience for our students!

🌟 Our Journey to Greatness Continues! 🌟

At Daniel Boone Elementary, we know that great things happen when we learn together, grow together, and invest in one another. 💚💛

Today, our amazing staff dug deeper into trauma-informed practices and relationship mapping, strengthening our understanding of how meaningful relationships can help every student feel known, valued, safe, and ready to learn.

One of the best parts of being a Pioneer is that our staff love learning from one another! We share ideas, reflect on our practice, challenge our thinking, and continue growing together because we know that when we grow as educators, our students grow too. 🌱

Our students are on a Journey to Greatness—and so are we! 🧭✨

Who can do hard things?! Pioneers can! 💚💛
