Over 300 Virginia Commonwealth University staff attended our Staff Senate Employee Appreciation Event Sunmer Block Party and Resource Fair. Special thanks to Virginia Credit Union for sponsoring the King of Pops - Richmond truck, Amanda Calderaro with Midguard's Rest for wonderful chair massages, and Mama Browns Kitchen for the yummy tater tots truck! We had some great VCU departments including: VCU Police Department, Vcu Gym, Sustainability, School of Dentistry, Athletics, Human Resources, Libraries, Ramstrong, Employee Health, Rams In Recovery, Dogs On Call, and of course the amazing members of the Staff Senate!

It is amazing to hear so many inspiring stores about the amazing staff at VCU. Our Staff Senate Awards Committee planned and executed a wonderful event to highlight and recognize members of VCU that are going above and beyond in their positions. Also thanks to VCU Catering for the delightful buffet.

We had a great time with hundreds of staff attending our on-line and in-person VCU Staff Senate Professional Development Conference last week! Our key note speaker Joshua P. Cole was inspiring, lunch by Tanya's Kitchen was delicious, and the resource fair highlighting our amazing VCU departments was fun and informative.

It's always an honor to represent the Staff Senate at the President's yearly Holiday Open House. This year's taco bar from VCU Cateringwas a hit, and it is always great to see so many staff, faculty, and students come together for a celebration of the things we hold dear at our university.
