💚 Thank you to everyone who has helped get the 2026-2027 school year off to an amazing start!

🛠️We appreciate everyone who helped get the building and campus ready for school, and 🌟welcomed all of our Mighty Oaks to school! From installing shelves to chalking the walk - all of your time and effort made back to school special!

😍We’ve been delighted to see familiar faces in the building as alumni have been helping out!

👮🏽‍♂️PHSSA’s Safety Patrol was inducted on Friday with special guests from the Richmond Police Department. These 5th graders help with drop off and pickup and did a stellar job of helping students find classrooms, buses and families during our first two weeks!

💚Huge thanks to everyone who braved the heat to help decorate the sidewalks and create a warm welcome for our kindergartners’ first full day tomorrow! ☀️

🛠️ Help get our PHSSA staff ready for the new school year! The PTA has compiled a list of tasks that our staff would like help with before school starts. The link below has the tasks. There will likely be more tasks added between now and 7/30. You may sign up for a task to complete at the school on Thursday, 7/30 or Friday, 7/31 between 8:00 and 3:00. Bring your ID and sign into Raptor in the main office.

📧Email [email protected] once you've completed the task (or if you have any issues or questions).

🧹 If Saturday, 8/1 works better for you, come to the school cafeteria from 10:00 to 1:00 and the PTA will give you a task to do that has not yet been completed.

👕 Also, please feel free to bring CLEAN and GENTLY used uniforms to donate to the uniform closet. We will have a box/bin set up next to the food pantry after you enter the school.

🎉Join the PHSSA PTA as we kick off the school year with a special Welcome Back Mighty Oaks Fest during morning arrival on Monday, August 3. Students will be greeted with music, cheers, and lots of school spirit to help make their first day extra memorable!
