As we begin a new month, we want to take a moment to reflect on Black History Month at Richmond Charter Academy.

On February 27, RCA hosted a West African drumming and dance performance honoring Black History Month. Performers visiting from Guinea introduced students to traditional drumming, shared the cultural significance of the drums, and highlighted the rich history of West African music and dance.

Thank you to the performers, families, and students who helped make this experience so joyful and engaging.
