✨ Celebrating the brilliance of Garrett Morgan through the voices of our preschoolers! Our young learners proudly shared what they know about this inspiring inventor, from his life-saving gas mask to his groundbreaking traffic signal. 🚦

We ended our lesson with a fun game of Red Light, Green Light, bringing history, learning, and play together in the sweetest way! ❤️

We are so proud of our little historians and the big ideas they are already exploring! 🌟

There was so much excitement in watching each stage of the journey unfold. There were so many opportunities to slow down, notice, and wonder.✨

Students spoke so kindly to the butterflies, reminding them that they were safe. It made my heart smile knowing they were simply mimicking the love and reassurance they hear each day.

And then came the sweetest part… setting them free. 🦋 We watched them spread their wings and take flight, ready for their next adventure.

Sometimes, the beauty of growing is knowing when it’s time to let go. 🦋

Before children can join dream big, they deserve to know the trailblazers who came before them! 🎨🖌️ At Vantage Prep, black history isn’t reserved for one month, it’s woven into our learning all year long. 💛🌈

Our black history figure for the month of July is Alma Thomas, a groundbreaking artist whose vibrant paintings continue to inspire creativity around the world.

After learning about her life and contributions, students created their own colorful masterpieces. This is what they had to say! 😆❤️

Even before they know what digraphs and blends are, they already know the sounds. We weave them into our routine 3+ times a week so that when decoding begins, it already feels familiar. They call it fun… I call it learning in action. ❤️

From learning letter sounds to demonstrating early reading skills, Liam has grown so much this year. In these moments, you’ll see him exploring sight words, concept of word, early literacy skills, and foundational math concepts as he continues to build confidence.

Now he’s closing one chapter and beginning another. Congratulations, Liam! 🎓 We are proud of your growth and excited to watch you continue your journey as you move on to kindergarten with Vantage Prep.

I don’t know where the time goes, but it sure does fly. It feels like just yesterday he walked through my door at 3 years old, and now he’s graduating Pre-K. I think he’s more than ready for kindergarten… don’t you? Emmet’s big personality has brought so much enthusiasm to our classroom. It’s been a pleasure to watch him grow into such a kind, inquisitive, and confident little guy, and I couldn’t be prouder to have been part of his journey. I know that he will be an excellent kindergarten student, and we will miss him dearly! ✨🎓 Keep shinning bright!!
