The Alpha Chapter of Chi Beta Tau, was established by students in the Fire Program at Eastern Kentucky University, in order to create opportunities for members to learn about the traditional Greek customs in a Fraternity, combined with the history of the Fire Service, while also establishing a life-long brotherhood. PAPD officers, 23 NYPD officers and the 2,195 innocent civilians who lost their lives, as well as many more because of the attacks. The events that happened on September 11th were intended to break our spirit.
Instead we have emerged stronger and more unified.
We will never forget.

Fire won’t wait! Plan your escape! March 2022 is the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week. During the week of October 9th through the 15th, Fire Departments across the country will be educating residents about important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe from home fires.
