The US Postal Service just announced that in 2023, they will be issuing stamps featuring Tomie dePaola’s art. We could just about cry. Tomie would’ve lovvvvved seeing his art on postage stamps. We miss him so. 😘😘😘🌬️

From Erika Napolitano: Fantastic show, Celebrate Around the World, from the AAE students today. So proud of all of the students and our wonderful music director Chloe Michelle. We enjoyed songs about Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanza, Eid al-Fitr and Jabulani. 4th and 5th graders wrote letters to their Alpha Hawks, true inspirational leaders in their lives who have inspired a career path for these oldest AAE students. These letters were delivered to all corners of the globe, and the students eagerly await a reply from chemists, activists, artists, Olympians, and entrepreneurs from around the world!
