Did you vote? Children can learn a lot by seeing their parents and caregivers involved in the democratic process.

As part of the PTA all of our funding, programs and executive board are as a result of voting. 🗳️

Field day is almost here! This Friday the kids will take the yard and enjoy a day full of games, hair tinsel, Chess, Obstacle courses, Special lunch and a frozen treat!

We need YOUR help to make this happen. We still need volunteers that are badged for the this shift:

3 volunteers
1:10-2:50 4th thru 6th grade support
(This one is a really crucial need as we also have a Staff/Teacher Dodgeball game)

This is one of your last chances to be present during an unforgettable time. Come make some joyful memories with out kids!

¡El día de actividades al aire libre está a la vuelta de la esquina! Este viernes, los niños disfrutarán del patio con un día lleno de juegos, adornos para el cabello, ajedrez, carreras de obstáculos, un almuerzo especial y un helado.

Necesitamos TU ayuda para que esto sea posible. Todavía necesitamos voluntarios acreditados para el siguiente turno:

1:10-2:50 Apoyo para 4.º a 6.º grado
(Esta ayuda es crucial, ya que también tendremos un partido de balón prisionero para el personal docente y administrativo)

We are highlighting our fellow dual immersion elementary school today K-3, Elizabeth Stewart School PTA. They are located in Pinole and also part of West Contra Costa School District. They will be having an informational session June 3rd. 8:45am at 2040 Hoke Drive.

We are big advocates of Dual immersion and are hoping to strengthen programs and connections.

Spirit week starts Monday!

We wanted color and images to represent our school, our community. We wanted art in the school on display in a big way. We wanted to create and build with each other. We wanted to reflect what we feel inwardly onto the walls in splashes of vibrant light and shapes.

What an amazing start to all of that. Thank you to the few hundred community members who showed up to be part of something bigger.

Queríamos que el color y las imágenes representaran nuestra escuela, nuestra comunidad. Queríamos que el arte se exhibiera en la escuela a lo grande. Queríamos crear y construir juntos. Queríamos plasmar nuestros sentimientos en las paredes con destellos de luz vibrante y formas.

¡Qué comienzo tan increíble! Gracias a los cientos de miembros de la comunidad que se presentaron para formar parte de algo tan grande.
