What if I were to tell you…
even when we find moments of great “heat”, there is always refuge in finding a “sweet cool spot” to soothe one’s body and one’s spirit.
The boys and I do our best to walk at least one lovely time surrounded by trees, water and all kinds of nature. We do this as a way of finding that sweet spot within us all and encouraging the health and wellness of our bodies as we commune with nature. It cools our minds and warms our bellies in alignment with Asian Medicine practices and the practice of self care.
Even when it is as hot as it is, we find refuge in the “sweet cool spot” of the flowing waters. These places of peace remind us that we can find our cool even in the most heated moments and that Al of these moments will pass. We find our cool even in the hottest of times.
Developing the skills to sharpen your emotional intelligence and resilience allows on to practice this art of letting go and the act of finding one’s peace.
