Hey RAMS! 🐏 Happy Inclusive Postsecondary Education Day ! Did you know that ACE-IT in College is an accredited inclusive postsecondary education program at VCU that provides a pathway to higher education for students with intellectual disability (ID)? ACE-IT in College promotes inclusion and opportunities for students with ID on campus, creating a more diverse and representative environment for everyone. Not only do ACE-IT students take VCU courses that align with their career goals, but they also have paid campus jobs and community internships to help prepare them for their chosen careers. ACE-IT students are VCU RAMS and have access to all campus amenities and services just like any other student. One day, we hope that having an IPSE program on campus won’t be so uncommon, but today we celebrate that it’s one of the things that make VCU special. Check out our reel to learn more. Go RAMS!
