🇺🇸 Bringing this back up to the top of your feed 🇺🇸

On Friday, September 11th, we will gather together as a community of Vikings and Bulldogs, but, even more importantly, as a community of Americans, to honor and remember the lives forever changed on September 11, 2001.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11, and we believe that taking time to pause, remember, and show gratitude to those who serve and protect our communities is something worth coming together for.

We are asking our Viking community to please share this far and wide with the military members, veterans, first responders, and their families that you know. Central Heights is going to be the place to be on Friday, September 11th!

Our incredible FACS students, led by Mrs. Reed, will be preparing a delicious meal to help fill your bellies before the game, and during halftime of our home football game, we will take time to recognize and honor those who have answered the call to serve. You will also get to be a part of our electric Friday Night Lights football action, hear the best pep band in the land, and witness all of the incredible things that make small-town America so very special.

We hope our stands are filled with Vikings, but even more than that, we hope that our stands are filled with people united by gratitude, remembrance, and pride in the community and country we call home.

Please help us spread the word. Invite someone. Share this post. Bring your family. We can't wait to see you there!

Our Lady Vikings had a great night to kick off their season at St. Paul, where they took on both St. Paul and Crest in their first triangular of the season! 🏐💙💛

Our Varsity squad battled hard against St. Paul, coming up just short in some close, competitive sets before turning around and dominating Crest. Meanwhile, our JV Lady Vikings came out ready to play, taking control of their matches and never looking back on their way to a night of big wins!

We’re excited to see what’s ahead for these Lady Vikings! 💙💛🏐

With the high heat index expected this week, we’re making some adjustments to our game times to help keep our athletes, coaches, officials, and fans as safe and comfortable as possible.

📅 Thursday, September 3: Middle School Volleyball & Football
⏰ Game times have been moved to 5 PM (VB) and 7 PM (FB)

📅 Friday, September 4: High School Football
⏰ Kickoff has been moved to 7:30 PM

⚠️ Please note: These times are subject to further change depending on how fiery our sun decides to be! ☀️🔥 We’re keeping a close eye on the forecast and will communicate any additional changes as soon as possible.

Don't you wish the sun would have gotten the memo that September is supposed to bring cooler fall temperatures!? 🍂

Face painting is happening at the Elementary this Friday, September 4th, to get everyone ready for our FIRST HOME FOOTBALL GAME! Our Cross Country team will run on Saturday so we will also be cheering them on.

Come get painted, show your spirit, and let’s kick off the home season with some FUN!

Our high school volleyball teams are headed to St. Paul for their first triangular of the season, and we are ready to get things rolling! 💙💛

The first matches begin at 5:00 p.m. Come out and support our Vikings as both our JV and Varsity teams take the court!

Viking Community, here’s a look at the week ahead! 💙💛

We’ve got a busy one filled with events both at home and away, which means we have plenty of opportunities to get out and support our Vikings! Whether it’s on the court, the course, or the field, we hope to see our Viking community showing up and cheering on all of our student-athletes!

And this week is an exciting one because we have our official home openers on both Thursday for Middle School football and volleyball, and Friday for High School football! 🎉🏈 So come out early, put that tailgate down, bring some snacks, and enjoy a little extra time with friends, family, and fellow Vikings before the action gets started.

There’s nothing quite like a busy week at Central Heights. The lights are on, the stands start filling up, our students are competing, and our community comes together to support them.

We can’t wait to see you out there! Let’s make it a great week to be a Viking! 💙💛
