That time on the trail was so relaxing! Shoot, you found a tick. While most ticks don’t carry disease, it’s always better to be safe! Follow these steps to ensure you remove that pest completely:
• Use clean tweezers to grasp the tick close to the skin
• With steady, even pressure pull the tick from the skin
• Flush the tick or place it in alcohol
• Be sure to clean the bite thoroughly
