Congratulations to all of our 267 military-connected students this Spring. We were honored to host a small ceremony prior to graduation ceremonies to present military honor graduate cords and challenge coins.
Thank you to our Alumni - City of Richmond Mayor Robert Blythe and District 81 State Representative Deanna Frazier Gordon for attending and speaking to our graduates.
State Representative Deanna Frazier Gordon also honored our office and EKU President David McFaddin with a Citation of Achievement for our recent #1 ranking for Military Friendly schools.

Last week, EKU Baseball hosted the Military Appreciation game honoring our student and community service members.
Huge thank you to the Marine Corps League Det. 1012, Richmond, Ky. for presenting the colors.
SGT Kyra Mills of the Kentucky National Guard was selected to throw the ceremonial first pitch. Kyra graduates this Spring with Latin Honors and was also selected as a commencement speaker for her graduating class!

JVSG (Jobs for Veterans State Grant) consultants will be in the EKU Veterans Lounge on Friday, April 24, from 12:30-4:30 p.m., offering dedicated one-on-one employment support and career search assistance.
JVSG is a federal program that provides individualized career services, employment search and training assistance to eligible veterans. These services are open to any veteran—whether you are seeking a part-time job or are about to graduate and are seeking a career position—provided you have at least 180 days of active-duty service and an other than dishonorable discharge. Stop by to get help with job referrals, resume review, interview preparation and connecting your military experience to the civilian workforce.
