Honestly… most summer camps in Katy feel the same.
We’ve been looking around the 77406 area (within 15 miles),
and whether it’s music, dance, or sports —
everything starts around $300–$400+ per week.
Price aside, the bigger issue is:
👉 one single activity
👉 multiple locations to drive to
👉 very traditional setup
Nothing really stands out.
Then we came across this👇
📍 Katy Instage Arts Center
This is not just another camp —
it’s a fully integrated arts & activity space:
🩰 Ballet / Contemporary / Jazz — HDS Ballet
🎹 Piano / Voice / Musical Theatre / Violin — Cixi Music
🤸 Gymnastics — Next Level Gymnastics
🎨 Art — Dada Art Studio
Everything in one place.
And surprisingly —
$199 per week (4-week program)
In Katy, that’s honestly rare.
Probably the only camp starting in the $1xx range.
The space itself is also different:
✔ 8,000 sq ft, two floors
✔ modern, purpose-built environment
✔ designed for both kids and adults
It feels less like a “camp”
and more like a creative community space
for learning, exploring, and growing.
With a pass-based system + multiple programs,
it’s basically a full upgrade from the traditional “one-class” model.
—
If you’re looking for a summer camp in Katy,
this one is definitely worth checking out.
