October is National Medical Librarians Month. This month VCU celebrates all the work and expertise the librarians here at the Health Sciences Library put into improving medical research and practice, finding the best evidence, and supporting our faculty, students, and staff however they can.

Medical librarians are an integral part of the MCV Campus. They have a direct impact on the quality of patient care and research by helping users stay current about advances in their specialty areas. They teach students and healthcare providers how to find and evaluate information, and provide access to resources in a variety of formats.

Working on a group puzzle is a great way that medical librarians (right to left) Samantha Guss, Talicia Tarver and John Cyrus collaborate and have fun between consultations and searching at the office!
