THANK YOU ❤️to all of our 💫 many parent and student volunteers for helping to make the 17th Annual St. Benedict Oktoberfest event a great success for Catholic education!! You gave generously of your time and sold tickets, checked id’s, entertained kiddos, rolled thousands of sauerkraut balls, grilled an endless stream of wursts, poured keg after keg of beer and bottle after bottle of wine, and baked hundreds upon hundreds of pretzels (and much more!) all with a smile 😊 on your face and a servant’s heart ❤️! We’ve been longtime partners in this wonderful, action-packed program that combines dance, music and educational content, and culminates in an amazing end of year performance for students from area schools. Thank you to our MIM friends and our 4th grade class for another amazing 🤩 Minds in Motion program year! Last week our MIM team had fun getting our lower school off their feet for fun and dance! 🕺
This morning celebrated its annual May Crowning in honor of Our Lady. Our Comets joined in the Mary Garden after Mass and brought beautiful flowers in veneration of our Blessed Mother and then processed through the neighborhood and back to school praying the Rosary and led by Father John David. 🌹

Ms. Howell’s 3rd graders visited the school garden to add their weekly compost to the bin. The children were amazed to see some decomposition of the fruits & veggies (they talked of the food chain - producers, consumers & decomposers). They also could hardly believe the softness of the rich dirt. One student commented, "it feels like cake!" We can’t wait to see the beautiful plants 🪴and flowers 💐 that spring from this wonderful soil!
