Big thanks to Smurfit Westrock who visited our lower school science classes to teach about processing trees to make paper and sustainable paper-based packaging. The students potted their own trees to enjoy planting at home. 🌲

Shark dissection! 🦈 Mrs. Uebel’s class dove deep into the anatomy of “boneless wonders” last week. Did you know that sharks also don’t have vocal cords or swim bladders, unlike other ocean swimmers? Instead, they communicate through body language, electrical signals and vibrations in the water and stay buoyant with their large, oily liver.
