Walker High School Alumni Association, Incorporated was founded by Stuart "Moe" Thacker (Class of 1960) on May 15, 2001. The Association was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia on July 16, 2001 and granted tax-exempt status 501(c)3 as a nonprofit organization by the Internal Revenue Service on February 17, 2004.
