MERC - Metropolitan Educational Research Consortium

MERC researches issues in public education through a partnership between the VCU School of Education and seven school divisions in metropolitan Richmond.

MERC was established in 1991 as a partnership between Virginia Commonwealth University's school of Education and Richmond area public school systems. The founding members created MERC to provide research-based information to help resolve education problems identified by practicing professional educations.
