This week is International Education Week, and we are so exited to celebrate it, Nov. 18 - 22! 🎉🎉

During IEW, we will focus on expanding horizons and making connections as well as understanding others and different cultures. With the theme EXPLORE, we want to encourage you to learn about opportunities to study abroad, recognize the exchange programs for international students to come to the United States, and learn about the varying opportunities international education offers.

IEW is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences.

Join us in our celebration of international education, and check out the events occurring at global.vcu.edu/iew!
