We loved seeing to many Winnebagans last week at our annual NYC gathering. It was great to connect with friends old and new, share memories, enjoy some drinks, and raise funds to support scholarship campers!
Get that pep & vim going and let's all help send boys to camp!

Congratulations Sam Mink!
“Oyster House, Philly’s beloved seafood spot — known for its fresh lobster rolls, yummy cocktails and oysters that make you feel as if you’re on Maine’s coast — has just won the James Beard America’s Classics award.”
Inside Oyster House’s James Beard win for Philadelphia Owner Sam Mink said the America’s Classics honor couldn’t have come at a better time, as the restaurant celebrates its 50th birthday.

We have discovered a British poet connection at Winnebago that we need some help with. The “I must down to the greenhouse” poem is still posted in the lower greenhouse and is based on the poem, “Sea-Fever,” by John Masefield. And above the entrance to Arts and Crafts still has the quote “The days that make us happy and make us wise.” Also from John Masefield, the last line of his poem, “Biography.” Please help us connect the dots that lead to the British poet. Have fun & carry on!

Tomorrow morning boys will arrive at Camp Winnebago for the 105th Anniversary Summer, including 13 scholarship campers, the most ever supported by the Winnebago Alumni Association.
These campers will experience days on Echo Lake, evenings around campfires, adventures on Maine’s beautiful mountains and rivers, and lasting connections with friends at the special place all Winnebagans call home.
We are thrilled to send so many scholarship campers to Winnebago this summer. We have seen how camp changes boys. It fosters self-confidence and instills values that last a lifetime. When camp works—and we think it does almost always—it's an experience that becomes part of you.
Now, more than ever with a record number of scholarship campers attending, the Winnebago Alumni Association needs your support. So today we are launching the 105th Anniversary Summer Campaign to raise $105,000 by the end of this year and we are calling on all Winnebagans to show their support by donating at one of the following levels:
Mt. Blue: $105
Saddleback: $250
Tumbledown: $500
Moose: $1,000
Penobscot: $3,500
St. Croix: $5,000
Allagash: $7,500 (full scholarship tuition for one summer)

Every gift is essential and greatly appreciated. Thank you for your dedication to the Winnebago Alumni Association and being a part of our community!
