Yesterday, our 6/7’s & After School kids had a special visit all about fire safety! 🚒🔥❤️ They started by designing their very own fire hats before getting the chance to meet real firefighters, ask lots of questions, & learn about the important job they do to keep our community safe. The kids even got an up-close tour of the fire truck & learned about some of the equipment firefighters use! We love giving our kiddos hands-on learning experiences that turn important lessons into memories they’ll remember! 🧑‍🚒✨

A huge THANK YOU to our local firefighters for taking the time to visit, teach our kids, & make their day so special! ❤️

The Twos had so much fun learning letters E–H with Ms. Erica & Ms. Kendra this week! They got creative with adorable handprint art while learning E is for Espresso, F is for Fish, G is for Gorilla, and H is for Hive! 🖐️🎨 These hands-on activities make learning the alphabet extra fun while building letter recognition, creativity, & fine motor skills!

Ms. Emma always comes up with super fun, hands on activities for the kids to do after school!

Yesterday, they got to work together to wrap a teammate like a mummy using toilet paper. This fun activity builds teamwork, communication, creativity, & problem-solving skills while encouraging cooperation & positive sportsmanship! 😊

We are so incredibly thankful to have been voted 3rd Best Childcare Facility in Madison County beside our sister centers who placed 1st & 2nd!

This recognition means so much to all of us at Small Wonders. We couldn’t do what we do without our amazing staff who pour so much love into our children each day, our wonderful families who trust us with their little ones, & our community who continues to support us!

Thank you to everyone who voted for Small Wonders Childcare Center and helped us earn this honor. We are so proud of the place we’ve built together and even more proud to care for some of Madison County’s sweetest little ones! 🥰

Ms. Emma set up a really fun activity for After School yesterday!

The class got to travel “around the world” by visiting different country stations & practicing a yoga pose inspired by each location. As they move from country to country, they learn a fun fact, improve their balance & flexibility, & explore different cultures through movement, all while having fun with friends! 😊
