Thank you to everyone who participated – from Support Coordinators and Direct Support Professionals to Guardians, Case Managers, Parents, Caregivers, and Family members. Your dedication and passion made this event truly special.

Our workshop featured insightful sessions that provided valuable strategies and knowledge for supporting individuals with lifelong disabilities. Here are some highlights:

1. Faith Inclusion Network: Michelle Munger inspired us with best practices for supporting a person's faith in their care plans and beyond.
2. Supportive Decision-Making: Sara Thompson gave an in-depth overview of supported decision-making and relevant state regulations in Virginia.
3. DBHDS Mobile Rehab Equipment and Integration: Justin Bibeault and Clinton Conner showcased the innovative services of the Mobile Rehab Engineering Team.
4. Beyond Boundaries: Shep Roeper shared the inspiring mission of creating inclusive outdoor experiences for everyone.
5. Detecting Signs of Dementia Using the EDSD: Sharon DeBoever educated us on how to use the NTG Early Detection and Screen for Dementia effectively.
6. Why Inclusion Matters Across the Lifespan: Matthew Shapiro answered all the questions. Matthew offered a personal and powerful perspective on the importance of inclusion.
