Foster High School Choir

It has been a great year in choir, and we can't believe we are almost at the end! Here is some important information about end of year activities in choir. Please read all information below.

Mandatory Pop Show Dress Rehearsal this coming Saturday, May 11th 8:00 - 1:00pm. Lunch provided by the Choir Booster Club at Noon.

Pop show is coming up on May 13th! We have a raffle going on with some great prizes! You can purchase your tickets now online. Go online to see the description of our four items: Dorm Room, Game Night, Slumber Party, and $100 massage certificate! Just $20 gets you five tickets to the raffle! We will announce the winners at the concert. Use the link below to purchase.

Our end of year banquet is on May 16th at Jones Hall in Jones Creek Ranch Park 6-9pm! The event is for students only due to space constraints. Tickets are only $5 and a meal and dessert will be provided. If you are interested in volunteering for the event let us know! The link below can be used to purchase your ticket. The last day to purchase is May 8th so that we have a head count for our caterer. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

And lastly, our end of year booster meeting will be held Tuesday, May 7th at 7pm in the choir room. Please join us as the new board members are announced and learn how you can help next year. You can enter the school through the back door near the choir room.

TRANSPORTATION: Bus transportation provided by Foster HS. Cars park on the South side (student parking lot) and buses park on the North side (bus ramp).

SCHEDULE: 6:30 Meet at FHS 6:45 Board the bus 7:30 Arrive at Marshall HS 8:00 Contest Begins 2:00 Pick Up Results 2:30 Board the Bus 3:30 Arrive at FHS
WHAT TO WEAR: Professional attire! Women-dressy dresses and Men-slacks and dress shirt.
WHAT TO BRING: Money for the Concessions, games, homework, and BIG SMILE!!!

CONCESSIONS: Please support MHS by purchasing the following items:Donuts, Chili-cheese hot dogs, Pizza, Candy, Fruit snacks, Bottled water, Chips Soda

CONTEST ENTRANCE: Saturday tutorials will be in progress, therefore everyone should enter through the north or south commons doors only.

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THROUGH THE FRONT OF THE SCHOOL

Students will use the commons area ONLY to warm-up; no singing will be allowed beyond the double doors towards the performance rooms.
Maps designating the room assignments, restrooms, etc… will be posted in the commons area and various locations for your convenience.

ORIGINAL SCORES: Foster HS Choir Department will provide original copies of the scores.
It is the students’ responsibility to number the measures of the original copy.

ACCOMPANIST FEE: $25.00 is due before you arrive Saturday morning. Please check the board to see how much you owe. Cash or checks made out to FHS Choir!

Today's Choir Council meeting has been cancelled. Please accept my apology for the late notice. I was asked last night to attend a meeting off campus.

Good Morning Foster Choir. Don't forget that Thursday during your regularly scheduled choir class we are taking choir pictures. Come to class early and get dressed asap.

Also, accompanist fee ($25.00) is due Friday, Feb. 6th.
