We had our second playdate today at Taylor Farm Park! ☀️It was a hot one for sure, but that didn’t stop us from having a blast splashing in the water and catching up with our friends.

As a sweet bonus, we found out it was National Gummy Worm Day! 🪱Henrico County Parks & Rec was there passing out delicious dirt cups, which made the day even more special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! We hope to see you all for our last play date on August 14th at Derbyshire!

⭐️⭐️Teacher Spotlight: 3s class-Mrs. Liz and Mr. Mike⭐️⭐️

They were asked if they could have a super power in the classroom, what would it be and their favorite memory/moment at DPS?!

Mrs. Liz said:
1. If I could have any superpower in the classroom it would be to know what shows they are talking about the moment they bring them up. Sometimes it takes forever to figure out what they are talking about!

2. My favorite moments at DPS (I agree with Mr Mike & don’t want to copy, but that is 100% #1) is when they have been working on a skill and then they get it by themselves and the pride, joy and excitement in their face is unmatched and SUCH a special moment to be in with them and CELEBRATE! I love nothing more than to celebrate with them. 🎉

Mr. Mike said:
1. My super power would be being able to fly.

2. One of my many special moments at preschool is when a child pauses what they are doing and says I love you Mr Mike. My heart just melts. 🥰
