5th Grade Farewell/Promotion to 6th Grade Car Parade: Friday, May 29 at 3:00 p.m.
Since this school year did not end the way it was planned, we'd like to send our Eagles off to 6th grade with a memory that will last a lifetime. We know it won't be easy to pack 6 years of memories into a drive-by celebration, but we're going to do our best to try!
Our 5th Grade Farewell/Promotion to 6th Grade Car Parade will be held this this Friday, May 29 at 3:00 p.m. We will begin in the bus parking lot on the side of the building and have you drive through that loop and around the front "car rider" loop at the front of the building to finish.
You may decorate your car if you'd like. Some suggested items include: signs prominently displayed in big letters on the dashboard in your front window on the passenger's side of the car, balloons, streamers, posters, banners, car paint (shoe polish) and so forth. Students are encouraged to wear a Meyer shirt.
Things to remember:
1. This event is optional. The car parade is just for fun! It is a way to allow us to show our 5th graders how much we will miss them!
2. This will be a drive-through event. Please do not get out of your car! We must adhere to all safety guidelines.
3. This is not the time for drop off or pick up of items. Those procedures will take place next week as outlined in previous emails.
