Today, we celebrate Ms. Kim Kincer, the founding Director of Eastern Kentucky University’s PGA Golf Management Program and driving force in the growth of the golf industry as she has been elected to the Kentucky Golf Hall of Fame🎉

Over nearly four decades, Ms. Kincer has made an extraordinary impact on the game through coaching, teaching, leadership, and service. Her dedication and achievements have earned her numerous honors and distinctions, including

🏆 5-Time NCAA National Championship Coach
🏆 Women’s Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame (2024)
🏆 Methodist University Athletics Hall of Fame (2012)
🏆 32-Year LPGA Class A Professional
🏆 First Female Director of an Accredited PGA Golf Management Program in the United States
🏆 Founding Director of EKU’s PGA Golf Management Program
🏆 Developed 250+ Graduates and 210+ PGA Members

While these accolades are impressive, those who know Ms. Kincer understand that her greatest achievement is the impact she has had on her students. Through her leadership, mentorship, and unwavering support, she has helped shape the careers of hundreds of golf professionals and left a forever lasting mark on the golf industry.

While no longer our director, she remains one of the programs biggest advocates and supporters. Whether it’s mentoring students, connecting alumni, or championing the future of the program she built, her dedication to EKU PGM remains as strong as ever 👏

Thank you, Ms.Kincer, for your vision, leadership, and commitment to student success. The legacy you’ve created at EKU and throughout the golf industry will continue to inspire generations of golf professionals for years to come.

📬✉️ Postcard from our staff! Tyler and Josh, got the opportunity to travel to Couer d’Alene, Idaho and talk about exciting new aspects of the PGA Golf Management program with other University Programs. They had the opportunity to play Couer d’Alene Resort Golf Course and it was a treat! The course features the iconic 14th hole island green that players must be boated to! Looking forward to next year and connecting once again with all the PGM Universities next year!

As our colonels start their internships, we wanted to look back on their favorite photos this year! We miss seeing everyone on campus and on the course! We hope they learn a lot and have a great time on internship! As always,

Colonels, it’s summer! And with that we are happy to announce our last batch of internships with these students heading out on their first 3-monthers! Representing 17 states we’re excited to see how this group continues to grow in the game and soak it all in before returning in August!

Next up, Class of 2028!📌 Our students are spending the summer representing the program all across the country, gaining hands-on experience, building new connections, and taking advantage of some incredible opportunities along the way. We’re excited to watch them grow both personally and professionally through their internships, and we can’t wait to welcome them back with plenty of new stories, lessons learned, and memories to share from the summer.
