Holiday Cheers!

STEMsail and Rosie's Service Corps join forces at Miller Knox Park on December 13 for fun activities and to watch the Lighted Boat Parade put on by the Richmond Yacht Club. It was COLD!

STEMsail Goes To Mexico!
Following last years sailboat rally from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, the crew of s/v "Flyer," an Outbound 46 cruising sailboat, made a quick stop at the Upwind Sailing School at Marina de Las Cabos Twelve students toured the cruising boat and learned about watch systems, cooking on board, long distance sailing, repairs underway and the importance of teamwork and employing critical thinking skills in a real time environment. The bond that all sailors have supercedes generational differences - we're all kids, afterall!

Today was beach cleanup day for STEMsail students. Following the cleanup was a presentation by Marina Fennell about plastic in our oceans.
