Not something that I do terribly often, but my beloved Peavey Ultra Plus amplifier suddenly blew a tube and wouldn’t power on a few months ago. For those that don’t know, this is a fairly uncommon and sought after amp with a pretty loyal cult around it.
Not one to doubt my ability, I pulled the circuit board out and started to troubleshoot. A new fuse, a few capacitors, and a full set of new tubes put this back in action.
Though I don’t currently offer amp repair to the general public, I hope to continue to improve my skills and eventually be able to assist with these type of repairs.
I’m still setting up, repairing, and modifying guitars and basses in Chester, VA.
Please message me directly if I can help you out!

Not only can we fix your guitars, we teach how to play them too.
Some feedback from a recent lesson where the student was so excited to learn some more songs that he couldn’t quite remember the title! Looking forward to working through “Frankenstein” by the Edgar Winter Group.
Message us today to meet in person (RVA) or on Zoom (Anywhere) for high quality guitar instruction.

We are still working on guitars and offering guitar lessons either in person in Chester, VA or virtually over Zoom.
This week we had two incredible instruments come in:
A custom shop Fender Stratocaster with a roasted maple neck and an early 90s PRS Custom 22.
Each guitar received a signature setup which includes over 15 individual adjustments to get your instruments playing exceptionally well. I promise you’ve never felt action so comfortable!
The PRS received some electronics work with the installation of an original 5 way rotary switch. A previous owner converted the switch to a toggle which actually reduced sound options!
Love working on instruments of such high quality.
Reach out to schedule!

Correcting sloppy work on a Charvel straight from the factory.
Don’t get taken advantage of on simple repairs such as a jack replacement.
I’ve seen prices between $30-$50 for a repair that takes less than 30 seconds. I’ll charge you $15.
Get in touch for any repair needs at the best prices you’ll find anywhere. I work for the benefit of musicians.
