We are a ministry of Central United Methodist Church. Our mission is to provide children with a safe and nurturing space to learn, explore, and grow.

We utilize weekly lesson plans with activities, crafts, and stories along with free play in our classes!

Our preschoolers ended fire safety week with a visit from a couple firefighters and their engine! They were able to see and learn about the different parts of the truck and hold a few of the tools! They we so excited to get to hear the siren as they were leaving as well! Thank you to the Richmond Fire Department for taking time out of your day to come make a school day full of fun and excitement for our little learners!🧯🧑‍🚒🚒

Our carnival was on Friday! We had such a great time and a decent turn out! Thanks to everyone who helped out or came out to play games and have some snacks! We were able to make a little bit to use to continue to improve our classrooms, supplies, and equipment! Thank you so much!🥨🍿🎡🎈🎟️

The carnival is this Friday 5:30-7/7:30! Bring your friends and family and support Central ELC and Preschool! We had a blast last year and it is a fun way to fund raise for our program!
Just a few reminders: it is a fundraiser, so it does cost to play. You can purchase individual tickets for $2 each or get an unlimited play wristband for $15! There will be snacks for sale as well and a few paid (cash instead of tickets) games as well. We do not have a way of taking card, so cash is preferred please.
This event is open to past and present students of our programs so if you know someone whose child has aged out, don't hesitate to invite them to join the fun, we love getting to see former families!🍿🎡🎟️🎈🥨

Happy Grandparents Day to all the grandparents of Central ELC kiddos. Thank you for all that you do the littles in your families! Friday we invited our grandparents to the center for afternoon snack to celebrate them and the love they give to their grandchildren! At central our top priority is the safe and learning of the children we serve, but we also want children to have healthy and strong relationships with their families as well! We enjoy being able to help grow those connections through events and activities that bring both of their worlds together and gives them a space and opportunity to make memories with their families!💜
