Congratulations to BGA vocal and drum student Semira Rampersant for being a 2026 Robert James Anderson III Memorial Scholarship Recipient. Semira is a 2026 Highland Springs High School Graduate, as well as an Advanced Career Education (ACE) Center graduate, having successfully completed the Dual Enrollment ACE Center Program through Virginia Commonwealth University. Semira’s list of awards and achievements includes being a 2026 Highland Springs High School Honor Grad, as well as being invited and accepted into the Highland Springs High School Sociedad Honoraria Hispa’nica, “La Paz” Chapter because of her academic excellence in Spanish for 3 consecutive years. Semira will be attending George Mason University in the Fall, where she plans to study Atmospheric Science and looks forward to working with either NOAA or NASA advising on weather patterns or with Universities in atmospheric and meteorological sciences. Please help us congratulate Semira!! We are so proud of you.

The Robert James Anderson III Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship created in the memory and honor of Robert James Anderson III. He was an accomplished singer, songwriter and musician. The scholarship is awarded to BGA senior high school students who have demonstrated excellence in their academic studies, musical endeavors, and are planning to further their education or trade after high school graduation. 🥁👏🏽🔥❤️🍿
