Big congrats to Woodside High School for receiving the 2025 School of Excellence Award 🎉 with 751 college applications submitted for their graduating class of 372 students, WHS achieved one of the highest participation rates in the state! Shout out to the counseling team who went above and beyond during !

Our team at the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia, The Virginia Department of Education and the Secretary of Education for Virginia’s office (along with other Commonwealth of Virginia Agencies) came together this afternoon to celebrate by wearing the college gear of our alma mater’s! We are so proud of all of the seniors across Virginia as they make their decisions for post-high school education!
