To my parents that have lost a child.. have you gotten to the point where everything you do reminds you of them or you’ve seen something you think they would love ?

Well that’s been me every day for a very long time.

Today, in particularly it hit me when I approached a table raising funds for a child who is very sick. Immediately, Brighton came to my mind not only because I can relate to this family, but because this one stuffed animal stood out to me, it was like i could hear Brighton saying “pick this one Mommy.”

So of course I picked this one.. and tears were brought to my eyes.. the lady asked who it was for.. i said “my daughter, but shes in Heaven and I suppose she picked this one out for me.”

She looked at me like I was crazy, but until youve lost a child only then you may understand I’m not crazy at all, I’m simply trying to find Brighton in everything I do. 💕

If you don’t know Brighton has a book club and each purchase includes a tote bag, stuffed animals and other items to make yourself smile or your child/children. You can help our organization just like the Children’s Network.

🌍✨ BRIGHT MINDS, BRIGHT FUTURES IS GOING INTERNATIONAL! ✨🌍

Today, I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I announce a historic milestone for The Bright Light Foundation. Beginning in August, our Bright Minds, Bright Futures program will officially launch at Lunar International College, becoming the first school to implement this life-saving initiative internationally.

What many people see is the announcement. What they don’t see are the countless hours behind the scenes—the late nights, the meetings, the curriculum development, the grant writing, the planning, the prayers, and the unwavering commitment to creating something that can save lives and impact future generations.

This moment represents more than a partnership. It represents a promise.

A promise that Brighton’s life mattered.
A promise that her legacy will continue to shine across communities, schools, and now across borders.
A promise that we will continue turning pain into purpose and purpose into action.

When Brighton passed away from fentanyl poisoning, I never imagined that one day her story would help open doors for education and prevention efforts that would reach students around the world. Yet here we are, witnessing God do what only He can do.

Every step of this journey has been guided by faith. Every opportunity has been a reminder that God can take our deepest heartbreak and transform it into hope for others.

As we celebrate this incredible milestone, I want to thank everyone who has supported The Bright Light Foundation, believed in our mission, volunteered, donated, prayed, and stood beside us.

This is only the beginning.

đź’ś For Brighton.
đź’ś For the students we will reach.
đź’ś For the lives we will help save.

All glory to God.

Fentanyl Stole Their Futures.

Every photo in this image represents a child whose life was cut tragically short. They were sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, and best friends. They had dreams to chase, birthdays to celebrate, and futures waiting to be written.

At The Bright Light Foundation, we refuse to let their stories be forgotten.

Fentanyl does not discriminate. It has devastated families across our nation, leaving behind empty chairs, broken hearts, and unanswered questions. Behind every statistic is a face, a name, and a family forever changed.

Today, we honor these precious children and the countless others lost to fentanyl poisoning. We share their stories not to spread fear, but to spread awareness, education, and hope. One conversation, one life saved, one family spared from this unimaginable grief can make all the difference.

In memory of Brighton and every life stolen too soon, we will continue to fight, educate, advocate, and shine a light on this epidemic.

đź’ś Their lives mattered. Their stories matter. Their memories will live on.

💜✨

Get involved with our organization today! These kids, and this generation will need to know about these lives of so many children who didn’t make a choice!
