GREAT NEWS! Our application deadline for Allied Health Career Exploration has been EXTENDED to April 13th! This is a FREE two-week long summer program where students explore various health careers. Participating students receive free housing, hands-on activities, program information, professional development workshops and more! Check out the link in our bio for more information

Our VCU Acceleration participants spent the day exploring all the offerings of the Radiation Sciences department in VCU’s College of Health Professions! Their summer session comes to an end this week but after just a two-week break, they will begin the Fall semester as newly inducted Rams!

🦷 A day at the dentist? Not fun! But a day at the VCU School of Dentistry ()…TONS OF FUN! Our VCU Acceleration participants had a productive day in the dentistry lab carving teeth and learning about the offerings of the school! Where will they go next?! Stay Tuned!

Our 2025 VCU cohort has arrived and got right to work! Along with visiting with all the health sciences programs here at and taking college preparatory courses in Math, Biology, and Chemistry, these incoming first-year students are also involved with community service! They recently visited , which provides lodging and support for patients and families of patients who need to be close to the hospital. They had an amazing time cleaning, making lunch, and playing games with the residents!

VCU P.A.T.H.S. will be having it’s Annual Community Wellness Fair this Saturday, June 21st, 2025 from 10am to 2pm at VCU Health Hub at 25th located at 1130 N 25th Street, Suite A, Richmond, VA 23223. Come by to visit wellness education stations about blood pressure, oral care, foot care and much more! We have a children’s corner with art, games, and entertainment to keep them busy while you engage with our faculty and participants!

Group B or the Braniac Bumble Bees visited St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for our weekly Health Check during . Virginia Health Workforce Development Authority (VHWDA) Health Policy Fellows were also there to observe the participants assessments. Two more groups to go! Be on the lookout for Group C and D!

🎼🎤🗣️Take Me Out To The Ball Game! Our participants enjoyed a (Richmond Flying Squirrels) baseball game at the team’s last year at The Diamond! Fireworks closed out an enjoyable time of socializing, relaxing, and taking time to pause and enjoy !
