This week in black history
If you’re an 80s/ 90s baby then you know this made summers 🔥 thanks to Lonnie Johnson.
They have evolved since then.
The engineer developed this mega water gun in his free time while working at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. And once the toy, dubbed the Super Soaker, hit shelves in 1990 its popularity skyrocketed. In 2017, Forbes reported that it had earned over $1 billion in retail sales.
School is about to be in session… (well it is but we’re talking about FinLit Global right now).
How do you feel about your kid(s) learning about healthy money habits on those car rides, down time or whenever you/they want?
FinLit Global will open up registration soon for its 4 week hybrid courses.
Kids can learn at their own pace.
This course is for kids in grades 5th-8th.

Community
What kind of people make up the community?
Doctors, firefighters, police officers, business owners, store clerks are a few. Can you make any?
Today we made vests to represent people in our community.

Employee vs. Entrepreneurship
There’s more to like them being told to get good grades, go to college, and get a good job.
Changing the narrative is also what FinLit plans to do. Kids should understand they have options. They should understand how to navigate each path so they won’t grow up scared bc off bring u prepared. They shouldn’t accept fallacies about them. But should have their minds expanded bc real opportunity shouldn’t care about class or color but whoever wants it.

Middle school learned a little about stocks and ETFs. Just enough for them to want to know more.
No worries we’ll return tomorrow evening @ 5pm.
