The University Ensemble / Gospel Ensemble of EKU was founded on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University, in Richmond, KY in 1967.
Its mission and purpose is to spread the word of GOD in song and fellowship and praise, across Kentuckiana. Led by its impeccable arranger and pianist Reginald Walters and with the tireless leadership of Eric Abercrumbie, the University Ensemble / Gospel Ensemble of EKU helped to change the lives of countless numbers during its tenure on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University, starting in 1967.

This request is being sent out to as many University Ensemble and Gospel Ensemble alumni members, as possible.... requesting prayer for the family of former member Evelyn Cole Thompson, due to the tragic loss of Evelyn's Son Allen Thompson this past week in El Paso Texas.
A Friends and Family service will be held this Friday March 31, 2017 from 6 - 9 pm Eastern Standard Time followed by a Memorial Service on Saturday April 1, 2017 starting at 11 am Eastern.
