Great community service opportunity!
Volunteer at Richmond Zine Fest!! On Friday we need help setting tables up. On Saturday there's 3 short shifts for volunteering that'll include checking in tablers, checking on tablers, selling merch and cleaning up. Please apply on the google doc on our website homepage! Congratulations to the Jazz Ensemble for earning unanimous Superior Ratings at Jazz Assessment on Saturday, May 10!
This performance completes the band program's requirements to be designated a Virginia Honor Band for the first time in school history. Congratulations band members!
In order to qualify for this achievement, the band program completed the following milestones this year:
1. 25 students selected for District Band (December)
2. Wind Symphony earned Superior Rating (March)
3. Three students selected for All-Virginia Band (April)
4. All band students earned Superiors at Solo and Ensemble (April)
5. Superior rating at Jazz Assessment (May)
WELL DONE DRAGONS!
