SAVE YOUR BANANA PEELS! 🍌🍌🍌
Banana peels contain lots of nutrients, including potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and calcium—all of which are needed for good plant growth. Soaking the banana peels allows the nutrients to leech into the water, and once it hits the soil, the roots grab all those sweet, sweet minerals.

TRUST YOUR GUT FOR BETTER MENTAL HEALTH
Have you ever heard the phrase "trust your gut"? It turns out that there's a lot of truth to that saying! Our gut, also known as our digestive system, is connected to our brain in a really important way. This connection is called the "mind-gut connection," and it can have a big impact on our mood and how we feel.
Here's how it works: inside our gut, we have lots of tiny organisms called "microbes." These microbes help us digest food and keep our gut healthy. But did you know that they also send messages to our brain? It's true! When we eat certain foods, our microbes can send signals to our brain that affect how we feel.
For example, have you ever eaten a big piece of cake or a bag of candy, and then felt really hyper and excited? That's because the sugar in those foods can cause our gut microbes to send signals to our brain that make us feel that way. On the other hand, if we eat foods that are healthy and full of nutrients, our microbes can send signals to our brain that make us feel calm and happy.
But it's not just about the food we eat. Our gut microbes can also be affected by things like stress, anxiety, and other emotions. When we feel stressed or anxious, it can change the balance of microbes in our gut, which can then send signals to our brain that make us feel even more stressed or anxious. That's why it's so important to take care of both our bodies and our minds.
So, what can we do to take care of our mind-gut connection? Here are a few tips:
Eat a healthy, balanced diet with lots of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
Avoid eating too much sugar and junk food, which can upset the balance of microbes in our gut.
Try to manage stress and anxiety through activities like exercise, meditation, or talking to a trusted friend or adult.
Get plenty of sleep, which can also help keep our gut microbes in balance.
By taking care of our mind-gut connection, we can help improve our mood and overall well-being. So remember: trust your gut, and take care of both your body and your mind!

Does cucumber help anxiety?
They Can Help Reduce Stress
The vitamins that make cucumbers so nutritious are also the vitamins that can help balance your nervous system to help you battle stress. The Vitamins B1, B5, and B7 contained in cucumbers are effective in helping the nervous system to relax, relieving anxiety and stress.
