"My great nephew, Sawyer, was diagnosed as severely dyslexic, and moderately
dysgraphic in first grade. Panic settled on me like a wet blanket. After I shed my
tears, I was hooked up with Reading Resources and Lori Langerud. The first thing
she said was, we’ll get through this together. So together, I learned about Barton.
Together, I learned techniques to use with Barton to make the process more
engaging for Sawyer. Many emails were exchanged that often started with
“help!”, but Lori supported me through the process, so I could support Sawyer.
I coached Sawyer for 5 years. I am happy to report that Sawyer is now in 8th
grade, and getting A’s and B’s in all his classes."
